~Signature Tags~
How to use them
and FAQ
How do I save the
graphic? Do I copy and paste?
No, you do not copy and paste.
When you go to the website you click on your thumbnail and a new page
will load with the normal version of your tag. You then right-click on your
tag and save to your own hard drive. In Explorer is 'save picture as'.
How do I add graphics to
a signature for my email?
For Eudora users: Signatures on
Eudora do not accept graphics (actually I had found a tutorial but it was
complicated as heck), to add graphics into the body of your email go to EDIT
then INSERT and PICTURE.
~*AOL USERS*~
Click the mail option on your toolbar, scroll down to set mail signature. A little window will pop up, click create, click the little camera icon, find your siggy you want to add and click open. give your email signature a name an save it.
When writing new mail remember to click on signatures and click the signature you just created an it will pop right in there.
~* HOTMAIL *~
1. On top you will see your options.. Inbox, Compose, Address, Folders and Options. Click on options.
2. You will see a bunch of links - find the one that says Signature - it's in the last column second one down, click on it. Copy and Paste the HTML code inside there then click Okay.
To find the html code for the chosen tag right click on it an click properties.
3. Go up and click on Inbox...
4. Compose a new e-mail BEFORE you start typing, check the Rich Text box that is just above the box - type your e-mail. See right above the Cancel button, It says Add signature - click on it and you should see your signature.
If anyone has any instructions on how to add graphics
to a particular email client, please let me know and I will add it to this
list!
Why don't the tags
have the website address?
There are many reasons why
the tags do not have the web address of the ebinfoworld.com website. For
one, it is because if they are used on a website they can easily be linked
themselves to the site or ANOTHER EB site of your choice. If they are used
on emails in a signature, you can go ahead and put the
ebinfoworld.com link at the bottom or top of the tag in the signature or
you may link to any other EB site of your choice. 99% of the times,
if the URL is not something clickable, people will not go to the website,
and since they cannot copy and paste it either if its written on a tag,
they would have to type it in by memory. I do not want these tags to be
'exclusive' to this website, I want people to use them to link to whatever
site they would like.
Having said that, if anyone
still wants me to do it, I can, but since it's a long URL, on a tag it
would show up fairly small, depending on the size of the tag. Just let me
know when you order the tag. THANKS!!
Thank you and I hope this
clarifies things a bit for those that were confused on what to do!
