All Night Long...: The True Story of Bon Jovi (Paperback)
by Mick Wall, Music Sales Corp Omnibus |
|
Jon Bon
Jovi
by Laura Jackson
From Publishers Weekly
British celebrity biographer Jackson (Paul Simon; Queen; Ewan McGregor) presents an enthusiastic sketch of one of New Jersey’s favorite sons, né John Francis Bongiovi, in this detailed but speculative volume. Jackson traces the rock star’s journey from his childhood in working class Sayreville through his early years in the music business as "a ‘nobody’ who had to make his demos during the odd hours of the early morning when no one else required the facilities," to the pre-record label, pre-name change recording of his first hit "Runaway," and then through his multi-platinum albums, his legendary lengthy marriage, his bouts with burnout and professional failure, his excursions into acting and his return to the top of the music charts. This isn’t a complete biography, but ardent Bon Jovi fans who aren’t concerned with less than perfect grammatical styling, overly dramatic passages and the odd intrusion of British-isms (such as "mum" for "mother") should appreciate this satisfying addition to the singer’s memorabilia.

Bon
Jovi
by Michael Heatley, Malcolm Dome, Mick Wall
The Complete Guide to the Music of Bon Jovi is an awesome book to
read if you are a big fan. This book tells about their songs beginning
with their first album Bon Jovi and going through the album These
Days. Each song has it's own description of what it's about, where
the idea came from to write it, and from who. If that isn't awesome
enough, there are several photos of the band doing photo shoots and
playing in concerts. This is definitely a book worth owning if you
love Bon Jovi. |

The Bon Jovi Book, Faithful Followers, is a reflection of the enormous

they are releasing new music and feel confident that, once again,
it will be heart-felt and spiritually grounded. |
