What's in a name you may ask... why
'Sleeping Angel"? I dedicate my work and everything I have
done and I have become to my son, Alex,
who was stillborn at full term. He is and will always be my 'Sleeping
Angel'.
I
love graphic work, but I also do other things... I translate websites and do document translations from English
to Italian and vice versa.
I also offer beautiful and affordable
Wedding Graphics
for your website (and more!), and Free
Incredimail Letters & Graphic sets for your emails &
personal
website. I also run the T-Shirt & Novelty Junction store, some
shirts raise awareness for Epidermolysis Bullosa, so they are worth
taking a peek!
But that's not all. I also run a column
for parents of special need children called Special
Mommy Chronicles. Hope you enjoy it!
On this website you will also
find a page for moms looking to earn some extra
cash from home, and much more.
My son Nicky is afflicted with
a dreadful skin disorder called Epidermolysis Bullosa, EB. His skin is as fragile
as a butterflys wing which can blister at the slightest touch
even from my cuddles. Normal day-to-day life causes constant
pain and scarring, which leads to disfigurement and disability.
It will eventually kill him. Click on the ribbon to learn more about
EB.
The image you see
above of the two angels is actually only a portion of a beautiful
work of art by Rosso Fiorentino (click
here to see the original masterwork) that is kept in the
Galleria degli Uffizi in Florence, Italy. Rosso Fiorentino was a
renown painter, who lived in the early 1500s. When I visited the
Galleria in 1998 I fell in love with it!
Thank
you for visiting!
